Impossible to know, but the i7 has an advantage with the extra threads. You should research "video encoding hyperthreading vs hyperthreading off".
The i5 is basically an i7 without hyperthreading. (small L3 cache difference)
I would consider a 3770k though, the newer platform is much nicer than sandy bridge.
