So I was on craigslist looking for a GTX 1070 and found one and asked the guy about it, asking him details. Then I explained a little bit about the architecture of the card then I get a text from another number. This guy said that he got my number from the buddy who's GPU I was asking about and he was wondering if I wanted to do benchmarks for him with 1070's and 1080's for this popular YouTube channel he works for. He stated doesn't run the channel he's just the middleman tasked to provide detailed information about GPU's to include performance, prices, benchmarks tests on games etc. When I asked him what the channnel was called he said due to the nature of his disclosure agreement he was unable to provide me with that information. Which makes sense in regards to sabotage from competition. Is this even a real thing or am I just getting bambozzled here? That was a long post and I'm sorry for that lol thank you!

Why would he need your benchmark when his buddy is the one currently wit thhe 1070? He can get them, and already should have them, direcrtly from his friend...

Secondly, who would have a 1070 on craigslist but a scammer, its not like those are old or something.

I think you're being played for a fool. get you eager to run a benchmark and buy some card that probably isn't a real 1070.
