I've been working on a gaming pc build for a while now on pcpartpicker and have done A LOT of research on motherboards.
(link to full build here: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/DeclanWitt/saved/ )

Currently i have a gtx 1050 SC in my pc and i dont know if i can put a 1060 with it. I've read some plaes that B250 motherboards are mainly for single GPU gamers and that you can't overclock, however, i noticed there are 2 PCIe x16 slots. I wanted to get these things cleared up and wanted confirmation if this build is nice for a mid-range budget build

Can i put a 1050 and 1060 GPU on an ASUS PRIME B250-PLUS mobo?
can i overclock it, or no?
will i need some add-ons in order to support multiple GPUs? if so, can you tell me what or give me a link?

Thank you! :)

the gpus have to be identical to run in sli, but 2 different gpus can be run on the same mobo. i would recommend a 700 watt psu for overclocking the gpus. you will not need any addons to support multiple gpus except for the proper psu wattage and pcie cables.

You could run two different graphic cards using that motherboard, and yes; not at the same time in conjunction with each other, but I should point out that the motherboard you have listed does not support SLI at all. The second PCI-Ex16 slot is wired x4 (it will run AMD CrossfireX). In order to run SLI, each PCI-Ex16 slot must run at a minimum x8.
