Wireless connect but can't connect to internet

my wireless is connected but can't get online. I get the message, It appears you are connected to the internet, but you might want to try to reconnect to the internet. What can I do to resolve this issue?

this means that the internet connection is recognised but the signal that you send to the router is disrupted. try turning the router off completely and then on again and tell me what happens!
