Does this build suit my requirements, also are all the parts compatible?

Hi first time poster,

Basically I have almost no experience building computers, does this build seem to suite my requirements? I want to be able to play current AAA games at 1080p at around 60fps in the present, I would also like this build to be reasonable future proofed. When I say future proofed I mean that I don't intend to upgrade or replace this PC until it can no longer handle around 30ps at medium settings. I would like to avoid upgrading or replacing my PC's for as long as reasonable possible.

I have purposely chosen a low end 2 ram slot mother board, because I have no intention of over clocking. I also chose a single stick of 16g ram, I did this on purpose to leave room for future upgrade.

My questions are:
Could I drop down to a GTX 1060 and still meet my requirements?

Is everything compatible? I have cheeked, but once again due to lack of experience I could be wrong.

Will running my ram as single channel instead of duel channel slow it down. If it does will I even notice it, would it be enough to make a big difference?

Will my mother board need a bios update to take the CPU, if so how do I go about this, is it better to get a different motherboard?

Is there anything in this build that you would change?

Should I be spending an extra $75 to get this stuff from PC case gear instead of MSY, I have heard bad things about MSY honouring warranties, and letting you return things.

Also I feel like a should mention that as far as parts and prices are concerned, I live in Australia.

Here it goes:

Intel BX80677I57600 Core i5-7600 3.5GHz 6MB LGA1151 Kaby = $294.00

Asus H110M-K Intel H110 = $77.00

Crucial (CT16G4DFD8213) 16G Single DDR4 2133 Desktop RAM = $135.00

Sandisk SSD PLUS 240G SATA3 SSD Solid State Drive = $104.00

WD 3.5" Blue 1TB WD10EZEX SATA3 64M 7200rpm HDD = $66.00

Asus TURBO-GTX1070-8G 8G GTX 1070 TURBO PCI-E VGA Card = $568.00

Corsair VS550 550W Power Supply Units PSU = $65.00

DeepCool DP-ATX-TSRSWWH Tesseract SW White USB3.0 Mini = $49.00

ASUS Retail PCE-N15 PCI-E 300M Wireless-N Network Card = $17.00

LG DVD RW – SATA = $17.00

Vantec HDA-350P 2.5" SSD/HDD to 5.25" Bay = $14.00

Total $1,434.12

Solution
Here's a much better build.
You don't need a BIOS update with a 200 series board, no.
Why do you need an optical drive btw?
The disks that come with the components are old software, go directly to the site and get the latest version.
Also everything including windows comes on a USB nowadays, so unless you're burning music or DVDs its useless.

Well, if you go with the i5 7600, pair it with the b250 motherboard and your ram needs to be ddr4 2400. Either the gtx 1060 or 1070 are good choices, look for dual fan cooler designs. Stay away from the tesseract case, the build quality is garbage.

Chugalug_,

Your build looks great however would it be worth it money wise for to get an i7 over an i5? If the most intensive thing I'm going to is gaming. Do you think this will extend the usability of my PC significantly, will future games likely make use of 8 threads? Also do you think dropping to a GTX 1060 is worth while, or I should just spend the extra money on the 1070?

I'm leaning towards building your build, but I found and like the look of the Cooler Master N200 MicroATX Mini Tower Case. If I stuck with your build but put it in this case, would it all fit fine. I checked it seems to fit the gpu etc. Also do you have any opinions of this case?
