Hi ppl,

i have bought a 2 tb hdd (seagate) for my PS4,

I would like to know if it is possible to create partition for 1. 1.5tb for ps4 in exfat format and 2. whatever left into ntfs so i can use it with my tv(does not support exfat).

Is it possible.

Note: i think there is a limitation that the primary part will run as default (exfat or ntfs).

Update : It not possible to make separate partition because ps4 is formating the whole HDD regardless of the partitions.

Thanks anyway

Solution
1. Attach the HDD to a laptop or desktop.

2. Open disk management. (Type "diskmanagement" in searchbar).

3. Navigate to your external HDD.

4. Delete the existing partition.

5. Right click the "Unallocated space"

6. Select "New simple volume"

7. Choose the desired size (1GB = 1024 MB) You have to enter the size in MB).

8. Click "next"

9. Assign a drive letter

10. Choose the filesystem that you want (ntfs, fat, fat32, exfat).

11. Click finish to partition the drive

Repeat steps 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 for every partition that you want to make.

Good luck :)
