Hi guys.. im getting a new mech keyboard as my membrane is dying. Im thinky of getting the Ducky shine 6, new K95 platinum, new blackwidow chroma v2 or the logitech G810. The K95 and Blackwidow cost the same while the g810 and ducky 6 cost around $20 less

Solution
The K95 Platinum doesn't really offer anything more than any other K95. In fact, IIRC, it offers less macro/programmable keys.

Just make sure you like the switch type of the keyboard you get since there are a few types to choose from, and some are noisier than others by default. Also make sure the key layout is one you like as there are some variances out there around the <enter> key.

On a personal note, I'd side with the Corsair or Ducky keyboard myself. (The one I bought myself, while not listed here was the Cougar 700K with its split spacebar (spacebar on the left, macro/programmable key on the right)) Budget wise, the Ducky sounds better.

Keyboards are very personal to pick, do you know what type of key you are looking for? Usually the Brown type keys are good, not as loud as Red/Blue and better feel than the new Silent Red ones. The cheaper Chinese keyboards are pretty much all blue type switches and are louder than the real Cherry keys. The Romer-G keys Logitech uses are pretty good also, near the Brown type. Head to a store that may have them and try them out. May be tough though, not a lot of computer stores around that keep a nice set of keyboards on display, but BestBuy should have a few models.
