How Does My New System Spec Site Look So Far?

I'm working on my new setup spec site here: [ http://bit.ly/james-soho-pcs-no-ref ], or
more specifically here: [ http://tools.jamesandersonjr.com/current-equipment/soho_pcs.php?mode=no-ref ].

How does it look so far?

I have a long way to go (e.g. adding my 2 internal LG M-Disc Blu-Ray Burner's, add-on cards, peripherals like my USB Wi-Fi, USB Bluetooth 4.0 LE dongle, HiRO USB 56K v.92 voice modem, SONY USB floppy disk drive, USB 3.0 external LG M-Disc Blu-Ray Burner etc.), so bare with me please. I've had this setup for just a little over 3 years, and have never ever done this type of somewhat mundane task before (though I am a seasoned Web Developer. Profile Here). However, it can prove very useful (especially in forums like "TH").

Also, let me know if you think it's even worth it.

I'm not quite sure what you meant by that. But I did this site manually by myself, editing images, and all other info. So far I have spent a little over 5 hours on it, but not all at once though (throughout 3 days).
  3. The images where edited with GIMP ( https://www.gimp.org ) though.

Oh, it did that automatically when I looked the product up on Amazon. It may have came out like that from a browser plugin (idk :??: ).

    Removed.
  7. Hey @rgd1101, is it absolutely mandatory that I remove them, or is it just preferred that I do so? I ask because I've seen a lot worst quasi-marketing signatures here on TH.
  8. Which one?
    and why do you care?

I care, because I don't want to be discriminated against, and singled out just because my signature links to my own webpage with Amazon referral links.

    Get my drift?
  10. My amazon referral link is not allow. Who else have it on their signature?

If they were using our, or pcpartpicker, that ok, but not for any personal one.
  11. OK, fine. I'll use a GET (In URL) variable to switch it off, for links to my spec site, shared on this forum. Hope that helps! :wahoo:
  12. I never got any feedback on my system spec site...guess people just want to hate on me.

This isn't really the right forum to be flaunting your system. Chuck your specs into the signature and let that be that.

These forums are designed to discuss new technology and support people who are having issues with their technologies.

    I agree with rgd1101,

I don't understand why Amazon links are necessary for any of that?

No-one is hating on you either, we don't get payed for any of this. Most people probably want to help people with actual issues.

    But the website looks fine.
