Hi, I have a laptop HP630 it has 2 ram slots, I bought a new 4GB DDR3L and put it in the first slot, should I use the my old 2GB DDR3 on the second slot ? this 2 rams have different frequency and different voltages :
does removing the old ram makes my laptop faster ?

here is my rams information :

Solution
Simply removing the old RAM does not make your computer faster. Making a proper upgrade could potentially make your laptop perform better.

Considering that they have different frequencies and voltages, as well as brand, it is generally suggested to not mix DIMM #1 and #2 respectively unless they are exactly the same, in this case, not.
