I've always loved upgraded OEM systems like Dell Optiplex. I have an Optiplex 980 Mini Tower. It's old with the first gen i7 860 (very old). I have a Zotac GTX 1050 Ti Mini hiding in there. With 12 GB of RAM. 1 TB of WD Green HDD. It's one of the MOST EFFICIENT systems I've ever had. But I have an extra PCIe lane. I would love an M.2 storage unit. I've seen M.2 to PCIe Lane adapters. But I think I have PCIe 2.0 and I know it has slower speeds. But is it faster than SATA 3?
