I have successfully Overclocked my AMD FX-4300 to 4.4GHz at 1.3900V.
But i have just found out there is another factor to CPU Overclocking... Power Phases.
I want to know if my motherboard can handle my current overclock.

CPU: AMD FX-4300 at 4.4GHz at 1.3900V
GPU: GT 730 128-bit 2GB at 890MHz/1000MHz
PSU: 500W (I don't know it's brand)
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-S2
System fan setup: Push/Pull

That motherboard is not a good overclocking motherbaord.

And generic 500w PSU is not going to be good for overclocking either.

You need both a quality PSU and quality VRMs on the motherboard to provide that stable 1.39v

EDITED:
Simply put - if you have crap coming in, the end result will be crap coming out. If the PSU or VRMs cant provide stable power, then your motherboard overclock wont be stable either.

It is a stable overclock, i have stress tested it for a good hour on prime95 and it is indeed stable.
also, if there is one thing im certain of, is that my PSU is 80+ bronze certified
