okay so i was normally playing a casual game (League Of Legends) and all of the sudden my computer starts running at an unusable speed, mouse takes 5 seconds to move, audio sounds horrid, and every game won't go above 1 fps.i restarted with no luck, then i proceded to do system restore, didnt work either, then i reinstalled windows, didnt work either. after reinstalling windows 10 everything ran better but it still had chopped lag. audio wont sound horrible anymore but the lag in the programs is completely unbearable. i tried everything at this point.
things i tried:
-reinstalling windows
-system restore
-chkdsk
-malware scan
-dust cleaning my pc
-reseating all the components

the game that lags the most is league of legends. before it ran at 160fps, now it runs at 60 but it spikes to 5 or 10 every 2 seconds.
2d arcade games such as beat hazard or super hexagon have lag spikes as well, from over 500 fps they go down to 20 and 10.
some games freeze completely for a few seconds
