upgrade my GPU to sapphire radeon r9 280x

So i have Radeon HD 6850 which require 6pin PCi-E and i want to get the r9 280x.
The problem i got is that i have only 6pin adapter from my PSU which is Antec HCG-620M, and the r9 require 6pin and 8pin.
So i have 2 questions
1.Can i somehow get 6pin and 8pin together ?
2.Does the r9 280x will suit my Motherboard which is Gigabyte 880GM-usb3 PCi-E 2.0?

That PSU should have come with 2 x 6+2 pin PCIe cables. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371059
Can't find them? If not, contact Antec for replacement ones.

The board should be fine.

Or choose a different card that only requires a single 6+2 pin

It'll work with your motherboard but for a power hungry card like that get the replavrment connector from Antec. Otherwise you'll need to find a different and less power demanding videocard.

You can see on sapphire website that the 280x require PSU of 600W, i have 620 so no problem about the Watts.
The only issue i have now is with the cables, i have only 6+2pin and i need to have 6 and also 8pin together, someone now how can i do that?

Another option (though less desirable) is to get a 2 x Molex to 6-pin adapter for the 6-pin header on the card. Use the 6+2 pin cable you have now for the 8-pin header.
