I recently split a drink on my laptop and took it to the shop for repairs. The shop replaced the system pcb and the keyboard as this is what was required. Since the item has been returned the disc is now not working as it used to do. when it was first returned the computer wouldnt even last 1 minute without completely freezing, after checking task manager, i noticed mulitple times that the Disk was at 100%. I then searched on google and completed mulitple tasks none of which have worked to great effect. I then decided to store the files i needed on a usb and reset the computer to factory settings. This has had some effect as i can now dowload from steam and access the internet via firefox and install add ons to the broswer etc. However when multiple tasks are being performed or something which requires alot of file reading such as streaming, the disc still rockets up to 100 from a relatively small number and i am forced to restart holding the power button.
Why am i having this problem and is ther a way of fixing it without taking it back to the shop?
the cost of the repairs are already significant and i am worried that a new disc drive will be requiered even though i was told it would only be the System PCB and the keyboard.
laptop model - Toshiba-l50-c-1fu

Thankyou for any help in advance
