I am building a new gaming pc and my budget is $800-$850.I would like to stay on the low end of the budget. I have the power supply and hard drive already. I dont really need a ssd. Also i will upgrade the ram down the road. I am more just looking to double check my parts and making sure everything is good and i will have no problem running most games on max settings. Any tips or tweeks will be looked at and appreciated. Thank you.

have you tried PC part picker? It will help you find all of your combatible parts. Also do you want an Intel Nvidia build,Mixed build or a AMD based build?

If you have no brand preference, i'd personally take the RX 480 8GB as they have comparable performance and you can get a something like a MSI Armour OC for ~$200 ($50 less) or grab a higher end one like a MSI Gaming X for ~$230 ($20 less) then your 1060 in the build. Just in case, you do already have Windows sorted?

Also, you can get 8GB G-Skill Ripjaws V DDR4 2133 MHz for cheaper which is basically the same

The cooler you selected is awful, and barely compatible.

Better quality cooler, better faster memory, and better motherboard:

Do you have a copy of Windows 10 already on your current system?

For me, SSD is a must have. Normal SSD has 3x the HDD speed while samsung 960 evo has almost 3x the normal SSD speed. It will save your life spent waiting for loading. I valued life more than $130 (https://pcpartpicker.com/products/internal-hard-drive/#t=0&S=460000,10000000&sort=a10&page=1).
But then again its your choice.

Here are my recommendation without hdd, ssd and psu as requested:

Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Windforce OC Video Card ($379.00 @ Jet)

Although its $21 over budget, its has i7-7700 (standard heatsink included), 2x 8Gb DDR4-3000 CL15 (no longer need to add later), GTX 1070. The motherboard B250 should be able to optimized those parts. I think its worth the $21 overbudget.

Good luck with your build

That memory will only run at 2400 on that board, you need a Z board to run anything higher. Gaming wise with the board he picked and cooler he can overclock the 7600k to outperform the 7700 you selected.
