i recently got battlefield 1 so i wanted to make sure my PC was stable because it was crashing (didn't crash when playing other games) so i decided after researching maybe i should get a more stable overclock for my cpu, but this is where the trouble begins at i was confused the bios had presets for the voltage they were around 1.4-1.5V so i couldn't adjust the voltages properly, secondly since i have an AMD cpu it goes by clock ratio. my overclock was modest 4.3ghz but i recently found a new section where it said cpu frequency. it let me set the clocks 200-500 so i set it to 205 thinking this might be the reason for the instability. well running some stress tests my PC shut off i couldn't turn it on for a while thought my cpu died but it turned on again so i decided to just go stock settings and play like that but it did it again mid-game i'm concerned about playing anything right now any solutions?
specs:
fx 8350 4.0ghz
GA-78LMT-USB3 motherboard
16 gb ddr3 1333
zotac gtx 1070
zalman cpu cooler(looks like hyper 212)

That's understandable but it dosent make sense to why its shutting down at stock frequencies and what motherboard to you recomend for overclocking that is sub 100 dollars?
