What is the causes of a corrupted cmos cause I think it's because of the dead/weak battery, but I'm not sure. Will a corrupted CMOS cause you unable to boot into BIOS or it cannot display the system information. I think my PC's CMOS is corrupted cause every time I start my PC and it beeps 2 times and shows a screen of my system info, after a few times of startup it doesn't show anything but it beeps 2 times with a message 'This BIOS is exclusively for ACER only,
Copyright......' When I refer to my PC's service manual it says that it's a corrupted CMOS/CMOS Battery loss/CMOS Checksum error. Can anyone help me out wit this problem? :(

My PC is Acer Aspire AX3470:
CPU & Integrated Graphics Card: AMD A6-3420 & AMD Radeon HD 2.20GHZ
Ram: DDR3 8GB (4GB Kingstone & 4gb Acer)
Hard-Disk: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium SP1

I think I don't need to try anymore... I got it back from the PC repair center, now the pc can't even start or anything, and when I tried to power it on for the third time, the psu just shoots out sparks and a loud 'boom' noise, I don't think the PSU gonna work at this point...

Unless it was an ASUS that supports flashback or crashfree BIOS, you cant flash a dead system

Only thing you can do is replace the BIOS chip if it's removable

The BIOS can get corrupted if you flashed it and it did finish updating the BIOS. Like if there was a power cut, or someone turned it off while it was flashing the BIOS

I didn't flash a BIOS before cause I don't really want to do that cause 1 wrong step and it can brick your system, so I normally don't mess with this kind of stuff .I don't know why it does this cause I didn't flash a BIOS or anything on it.
