internal hard drives

SATA 3, formerly known as SATA 6Gbs, is the third and latest generation SATA hard drive. The Serial ATA or Serial Advanced Technology Attachment III interface, is capable of handling up to 600 megabytes per second of sequential read and write speeds.

After looking at your motherboard a bit more carefully, it has 1x SATA 3 port, and 5 SATA II ports. SATA II HDDs support speeds of up to 3Gps. The power draw between SATA 3 and SATA 2 drives are similar, and depend on storage size, RPM spec, heat dissipation, etc. For the purposes of your initial question and described setup, though, your 550 watt power supply should be more than enough for two hard drives, gpu, & your other components.
