i have a Pentium e5700 + msi g41m-p33 mobo + 2 gb d3@1333bz.....

as my mobo supports core 2 quad(q6600) and they are very cheap @ price, should i buy one along with 1050 ti + 8gb??

Solution
Even a Core2Quad will struggle greatly in Battlefield. It will run, but especially in large multiplayer matches, it will run poorly. Don't expect to have a good time at all with your current CPU, even if the game is technically able to launch.

I expect you'll probably also want at least 8GB of RAM.

Can your 10 year old system support one of the most demanding modern games.....no.

What you need to realize is that your upgrading your pentium to a core21quad is going from 8% to 24%. While 8-24 is a big jump, it is still only 24% and grossly insuffient.

Money will be much much better spent saving to get a g4560 build.

Well ,that depends on game. Some higly cpu dependent games like ARMA 3 wont run at all ,while some less CPU demanding games will run on perfect 60.Its all up to a game. And upgrade that ram since 2gb of ddr3 is dirt cheap these days.
