Hey guys!
I've got a very strange problem and already tried multiple solutions but nothing has helped so far. So my PC isn't really new I decided to clean it, every single thing in it. I've disassembled it to pieces and cleaned it with with simple dry paper. Except for the motherboard, I washed it with water since I read it won't do any harm. I removed everything from it and used only water for brief seconds and then let it air dry for a day. I rebuilt the computer, pushed the start button and... nothing happened. Not a single light on or brief turn of vents, nothing. After that I tried many things, screwdriver start up method, removed the motherboard from the case and tried to start it with only 1 RAM stick and even used different ones and I've tried with a different PSU. The result was always the same: nothing. However the motherboards led light is always green and the sound cards blue led is also glowing so there is power in the mb but it won't turn on. At this point I'm almost sure the motherboard is dead but still hoping you can figure something out. My config is:
Motherboard: Asus P5E3 Deluxe
RAM: 4 GB Kingmax DDR2
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400
VGA: Nvidia Geforce GTX 480
PSU: Corsair TX-750
HDD: Western Digital Blue 1 TB
Thanks for the reading, hope you can help me out.
