I recently built my new gaming PC I had to sell my other one to help with moving and after a few months I finally saved up enough money to build a new one and started to download my games again and I finally got around to downloading Fallout 4 it could not detect my hardware which I thought was odd but I put the game at the ultra preset I thought it would work just fine because my hardware runs any game I want to play at 1080p at high to ultra settings at 60 FPS so when I played Fallout 4 again I was surprised it ran so bad I am not even in the demanding areas yet I just got out of the vault and my average FPS is 34 my other PC could max out the game no problem with over 60 FPS but on my new PC the frames go all over the place one second I will get 45 frames then it will jump to 32 then to 56 then back down again the most frames I have had is 67 now it would not be a problem to me as 30 FPS is playable the game stutters for some reason when I walk look around or even just stand the game stutters I have not come across any one else with this problem most peoples complaints that I have found they complain about not being able to run the game but they will have hardware under the minimum specs but any way if any one can help besides telling me to edit the prefs.ini which makes the game unplayable it would be appreciated my PC specs are
MotherBoard: AsRock B250M -HDV

Fallout 4 is not a demanding game and the 1050 ti plays most AAA games on ultra settings its not my hardware its the game

Fallout 4 recommended requirement is a GTX 780. That's a good bit above a 1050 Ti.

You will want to turn some settings down. I'm not familiar with Fallout 4 settings, but usually turning anti-aliasing on FXAA (No MSAA or TXAA) helps a lot.

You can also look at a guide to help you with that. http://gameranx.com/features/id/31572/article/fallout-4-guide-settings-to-turn-on-or-off-for-best-performance/

My GPU has nothing to do with it I never had a 780 I have seen benchmarks of the 1050 ti in Fallout 4 and on average it got about 74 frames and most people used a I3 so I should get similar performance or better and FYI I have seen benchmarks of the 780 go against the 1050 ti and they pretty much got the same performance from both cards with the 1050 ti getting 5 to 10 frames more in a couple games

Like I said before it's not my hardware its the game I lowered the settings normally I would be able to play the game on ultra no problem over 60 FPS but the game is broken no matter what I put the settings to or change the settings myself the performance stays the same the game is just broken

Have you tried reinstalling the game? Backup your save first

Yea I reinstalled it because it was worse than it is now but I give up I don't care anymore I cant get a solid answer other than the guy who keeps commenting telling me it's my hardware when I know it's not

Can you read the guy has told you many times it's not his hardware quit trying to blame his hardware. You clearly are not helping him so quit commenting. And FYI you keep saying the 780 is a better card no its not. The 1050 ti gets about 10 to 20 frames more in games at ultra setting's 1080p 60 FPS I know this because I have had both cards. Also the video you linked him the person had a I5 2500 and 8GB of DDR3 @ 1333mhz and this guy said he has a I5 7500 which is a better processor and better and faster RAM. Get lost if your not going to help him your the type of people who are cancer on this website you think you know everything and try to start arguments with people get out of here.
