Intel Chipset Problem

Hi, In mylaptop is 4 years old. My ASUS laptop having Intel BD82HM67-SLJ4N Chipset. In my laptop chipset is so weak. It means it laptop will work for 10 minutes after that running dot/lines will appear in my screen. then i forced to shutdown laptop. In service center (2 different places) they checked my laptop and they told cannot change the chipset need to buy new mother board. Is it possible to repair the chipset. Can i try for reflow the soldering. If im doing how it will be successful. whats the reason for chipset failure

Repeated cycles of heating and cooling can, over time, cause traces and solder joints to fail. It is possible to repair circuit boards by reflowing, but this is a last ditch method to repair as the success rate is low and even if successful, will usually fail again at some point. The easiest method is to remove the board, mask off any plastic components and other heat sensitive areas and use a hot air gun to heat the solder traces until they become "shiny". There are a number of videos on YouTube that show this method.
