I hv an mobo of asus p8h77-v_LE which integrated graphics is about 2 gb and Intel i3 3210 processor , and 8 gb of cosire vengeance 1600mhz ddr3 ram. No graphics card

I had and option either to go with a graphic card or a processor . My wish is either to buy a intel i5 3450 or an rx 480 8gb so what to do guys help me out .
If go with graphic card suggest me whether to go with asus strix or msi gaming x .

Solution
I would go with the GPU before upgrading to a processor. You'll probably create a bottleneck with a lot of games, but that i3 isn't a bad performer. Going from an iGPU to a rx 480 will be a much more rewarding upgrade than the i5.

As for what version to go for, I prefer the asus strix, but I would probably just go with whatever is cheaper as long as there are no known issues with either variant.

Also when you decide to get a new cpu afterwards, go for this Intel Core i7-3770K maby a used one. Will last alot longer and also wont bottleneck the 480 as I do believe that i5 3450 will.

MERGED QUESTION
Question from Sayantan_ : "Go with a new graphics card or a new processors"

Really depends on what you want to do. I am assuming you want to play games...

Here's the thing, the RX 480 is a very powerful card and one of the top GPU's for 1080p/60Hz Ultra gaming. If you go with that first, your current weak Intel i3-3210 will *DEFINITELY* hinder the performance of the RX 480.

I also don't see a point getting an i5-3450 first with no dedicated graphics card to use for gaming.

Upgrading to Intel i5-3450 would *most likely* allow you to get the performance of the RX 480 to its optimum level (except in worst-case scenario AAA and CPU-intensive gaming). But, as you said, you can't get BOTH at the same time... so...

For me, I would either:
1) Go for the RX 480 now, be patient with bottlenecking, decrease in-game settings/resolution, and save for that i5 CPU soon.
or
2) Go for a GTX 1050 Ti, which is good enough for 1080p gaming, and need not worry about not maximizing the GPU's power.

If your use is for gaming, then by all means buy a discrete graphics card.
A RX480 is a bit power hungry so you will need a good 500w psu with a aux 6 pin connector.
If that is a problem, a GTX1050ti will run on 300w and slot power only.

I think your I3-3120 will be fine; here is a test to see:

Run YOUR games, but lower your resolution and eye candy.
If your FPS increases, it indicates that your cpu is strong enough to drive a better graphics configuration.
If your FPS stays the same, you are likely more cpu limited.
