This is the basic system I'm wanting to build. Its pretty straight forward w/ the non-oc cpu. I chose i7 because I do a lot of stuff in background plus gaming.

i7 7700 Kaby Lake
a single GTX 1060 OC GPU
16 GB ddr4
Samsung Evo solid states

I'm having a hard time selecting a mobo to use. I like MSI. Not an Asus fan at all. (The only build that I experienced trouble was with an Asus board) My current build is an Asrock and its been ok.

Considering:
MSI Z270-A PRO
or
MSI Z270 GAMING M3 LGA 1151
or
ASRock Fatal1ty Z270 Gaming K6

I'm open for any suggestions you guys may have for optimal performance with a reasonable price.

Thanks

I personally use Gigabyte and AsRock boards and haven't had problems at all.

I used to use Asus years back (when Abit used to be around), but they're overpriced for what they are imo. I also used to use a MSI board (when they still called themselves Micro Star International and not abbreviated) and it was a very cheap board. I have heard their quality has improved quite a bit over the years and they get a fair amount of praise so I have no problems recommending the brand at this point.

Any of the 3 boards you have listed should be fine. The biggest thing to decide is cost vs. features and to check for any reviews of them.
