Hey,
I have
GTX 1060 6GB
FX 8320
MSI 760GMA-P34
8GB RAM (1x8)

And I was planing to change to an I5 6600, what do you think about this? The only thing Im going to change is the mobo and processor, and maybe cooler too. I have a 650w psu, so I think I'll be fine

[PCPartPicker part list](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6z79vV) / [Price breakdown by merchant](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6z79vV/by_merchant/)

**CPU** | [Intel Core i5-6600 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor]
**CPU Cooler** | [Cooler Master Hyper TX3 54.8 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler]
**Motherboard** | [ASRock Z170 Gaming K4/D3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard]
**Memory** | [Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory]
**Storage** | [Toshiba 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive]
**Video Card** | [Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB WINDFORCE OC 6G Video Card]

The pcpartpicker says "The Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory operating voltage of 1.5V exceeds the Intel Skylake CPU recommended maximum of 1.35V+5% (1.417V)."
Is it going to affect me that bad?

Solution
The 6600 is a significant upgrade. The PSU is more than enough.

The cooler you chose has a sleeve bearing in the fan, and those don't last long. Be ready to replace it, or get something else.

Regarding the RAM, it's better to be safe than sorry. Technically, it should work, but it may destroy the CPU after a while. I would recommend getting a dual channel DDR4 kit, as you're running a single channel setup and moving to a dual channel setup would make a difference in certain situations.
