I'm hoping to build my first PC soon, aiming for it to not catch fire and, ideally, function and work as a gaming PC. I would like to run most modern games at a steady 60 fps / 1440p if possible. I have spent sometime fashioning what I hope is a compatible and sufficient parts list:

If you see any glaring issues or areas of improvement your imput would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for reading.

A couple minor changes. I would not go with the XFX XT 600w. Those units are not Seasonic built, like the 650w XFX PSU's.

That build looks fine for what you want to do with it. There may be some games that you have to turn settings down from Utlra to high to hit 60fps but otherwise you should be able to play most of todays games at 60fps.

Very nice parts list, especially for a beginner. Not much that I would change here, other than the SSD. I'm assuming that you're buying one for your OS and online games to make them faster, and if you are, I would recommend atleast 250 GB.

It keeps your all-black theme and gets you a 256GB SSD, and is a couple bucks cheaper.
