hello,

I've looked at numerous forums and stuff like that but I've found a thousand different things for the same problem, update bios, uninstall drivers and other such things, I've tried them all, but to no avail.

i changed my current R7900 series (which works with no problems) to this 380x, i'v plugged everything in and updated the drivers, but i'm still getting no signal.

also when it starts up, only one fan of the two is turning and if i press the power button, it switches off straight away.

Please help, i'm losing the plot...

If everything works on the old gpu (HD7950 or 7970) but doesn't work on the 380x, the 380x is probably a dud. Of course, provided you've done all the typical "did I plug this thing in right?" troubleshooting, as well as clearing the slot of potential dust.

If it is in fact a dud, you're better off returning or selling your 380x and getting something like an RX470. Less power consumption, better performance, etc. The only use I found for my Sapphire 380x was sticking it into an older mac pro to replace its ancient HD4870. RIP.
