Hi guys. I have recently updated my graphics card from R9 280x to GTX 1080TI and the issue is that it runs only at 60hz wheres on R9 it was running at 144hz as I have Benq xl2411 monitor or so called Zowie or something like that. I havent change the cables or anything. Its a 1080p monitor. And im not using HDMI cable. All the drivers are up to date. Could it be that there is some old R9 drivers left or something? Im not expert in these things :) any help will be much appreciated. Tnx

I think it might be the adapter which is included in the box, I was reading on other forums and someone said that original adapter can run only at 60hz, we might need new cable DVI-D to Display Port, but many said that most off them cables will not run 144hz, need to find the right one I guess :)

Display port and HDMI 2.0 support 144hz, not sure about dv-I. Have you had a look at the monitor settings? On my Asus I can switch between 60/120/144 on the monitor itself. If you have been to the n-vidia control panel and and under change resolution you have set the refresh rate to 144hz I can't think of anything else.

Bad news guys, hdmi 2.0 cable not running at 144hz, only at 60hz, at very low resolutions it can do 120hz but that's rubbish for me. I guess new monitor will be needed with display port connection.
