When i open task manager, go to processes it shows my ram is only running at 800mhz, also i have 2 sticks of 1866mhz G.skill ram. I wonder why my computer seemed to run slower latley. PC SPECS : AMD 6300, GTX 960, 8Gb g.skill 1866mhz ram, 1 tb HDD, windows 10

Solution
Hi Redmuffin1935 :)

Run CPUz to see your current config. The memory tab tells you your frequency. Don't forget that it's double data rate so double that and that's your RAMs operating frequency and Primary Timings atm.
The SPD tab shows your XMP profiles and Primary Timings, which should be entered in Bios manually.

Your running at 800 mhz would mean it is running at 1600 mhz, since it is DDR=double data rate. To set your ram speed at its highest speed you need to get into the BIOS and set the ram speed. Check your motherboard manual on how to achieve this.
