We recently shipped out our PC via usps and once we got booting and everything, the bios doesn't detect the HDD nor SSD. They worked perfectly before. The Motherboard is the asus rampage v extreme and the HDD is a Seagate Desktop ST4000DM000 4TB whilst the SSD is a Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB. Once we opened the box we did find the hard drive to be detached from the railings and was hanging but the ssd was left in place. The hard drive has a heart beat, I felt it but I have no other way of testing to see if these drives still work. Any ideas / solutions? Thanks in advanced!

Solution
In the BIOS, with ez flash. You dont do it in Windows on an ASUS

Get the update extract it put it on a flash drive

Go into the BIOS. Find ez flash. Point it to the flash drive / update. Wait for it to finish
