I'm in the process of building my first PC, therefore I have a budget. I was recommended not to save on a PSU or buy a used one. Therefore I was wondering what would be the best PSU for a price below £70. My build consists of an i5 6600k which i'm looking to overclock and an R9 390x. Im also presuming a 650W to 750W should be more than enough for the build. Plus no mustard cables preferably. Any ideas?

With the small budget of yours, your options are quite limited.

I suggest going for Seasonic unit. Either S12II-620, M12II-620 EVO or G-650. Though, the best would be PRIME 650.

S12II-620 is 80+ Bronze with fully wired cables. It gives you nice headache in cable management. (I have S12II-520 powering my AMD build.)
M12II-620 EVO is 80+ Bronze with fully modular cables. It's great for cable management. (I have M12II-850 EVO powering my Haswell build.)
G-650 is 80+ Gold with semi-modular cables. It has better efficiency than the two above while still having good cable management.
PRIME 650 is 80+ Titanium with fully modular cables. It is the best 650W PSU that money can buy at current date. (I have PRIME 650 powering my Skylake build with i5-6600K, full specs in my sig.)

Review of PRIME 650: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/seasonic-prime-titanium-650w-psu,4690.html

S12II, M12II EVO and G series PSUs are of good quality (Tier two) PSUs while PRIME is of great quality (Tier one) PSU.

Some solid options, although i was recommended atleast 750w due to my R9 390x being quite a hungry card, do you have anything to add to this. I wouldnt mind spending around 80 - 90 quid
