First of all lets start with specs:
CPU: I5-2400 Sandy brigde 3100MHz
GPU new: MSI RX 480 8G
GPU old: AMD Radeon HD 5570
RAM: 2*2GB Kingston Value RAM
Motherboard: P8H61
SSD: Kingston 240GB
HDD: Kingston 1000GB
PSU: Huntkey v-power 400W
Monitor: BenQ GW2270
Problem: Yesterday my new monitor (BenQ) and gpu (RX 480) arrived, and several problems popped up after I installed them:
-Screen flickering in certain games
-Sudden black screen followed by 'no signal detected', after restart it works again
I've tried:
-Replugging the cables
-Reseating the GPU & 24 pin mobo cable
-Reinstalling drivers
Additional info:
-My PSU only has a 6 pin power cable and not an 8 pin that my GPU needs
-The GPU did click in the PCI slot
-Sometimes the pc works fine for a couple of hours
-Monitor plugged into GPU
What can I do to make my pc not lose signal anymore?
