I recently upgraded my PC with a new Processor, Motherboard and Ram, when i try to play a game it usually crashes after a minute or so and i get a blank red screen with no text and a buzzing noise and i'm forced to restart my PC, I never had this problem before with the card in my old setup. I have already tried reseating the card and disconnecting and reconnecting the 6pin and 8pin power connectors connected to the card.

PC Specs

OS - Windows 10 64 bit
Processor - AMD Ryzen 1700 (New)
Motherboard - Asus X370 Pro (New)
Memory - 16gb Corsair DDR4 2666mhz (New)
Graphics Card - R9 280x
Power Supply - Corsair 750w
Storage - 1TB Seagate HDD (Has Windows 10 installed)
- 1TB Western Digital HDD (New)

Hi
do you use the same ati display driver you used on your old setup? to sort display driver issues (as always with ati/amd gpu's) out
if yes, there are two options:
1 any part of your new hardware - I think either cpu or mainboard or both - is faulty
2 typically amd driver issues

kind regards

Ok so after changing my driver from the most recent one (21.19.525) to an older one from november (21.19.137.514) i havent had a crash and ive been playing for a solid 5 hours now on multiple different games just to test. I had reinstalled my display driver many times before this so it might be the driver itself rather than my specific installation. Ill keep testing this and ill update if it occurs again but i think its finally fixed. Thanks for the help.
