SLI Msi gtx 970 and EVGA gtx970 on sniper m5 mobo with msi sli brdige not working

Hello, I am trying to sli my two graphics cards, being and msi gtx 970 and evga gtx 970. They both show up in my device manager which I dont think is a good thing for SLI. I think the problem could be that I am using a MSI Sli bridge on a gigabyte motherboard. Is that the problem? When I go into my nvdia control panel it will not let me enable SLI. Also both of the fans are spinning.

Try using ddu to completely wipe the current drivers and settings and reinstall the driver. Which evga model is it? Some of thier 970s used a custom bios that doesn't play well with other cards.
