First you need to know that I really know nothing computers.
I just bought noctua NH-D15 cooler for my i7 6700k, not sure if it's overkill but I got it cheap and my cooler right now is like 10 dollars. So I thought it would be a good idea to upgrade.
I think my power supply is only 550W so I'm not sure if I can actually run i7 6700k, gtx 1070 + that noctua fan all together.
Please help a noobie in need! Really appreciate any help

Solution
The fan will draw the same power as any other fan would, so thats not an issue.
What brand is the power supply? A quality 550w should be plenty.

Brand has little to do with the quality of a power supply besides those who literally make bombs.. Every brand has there good and bad PSUs, you should judge more specifically on series/model.

Usually when you ask for a model number they wont know where to find it, so you ask for a brand and they will say something like Corsair CX and you can then provide the info.
