PCI-e card not working after moving slots

I just bought a graphics card and installed it in the first PCI x16 slot on my mobo (MSI Z170A Gaming M5) but had to move my TP-LINK T6E wireless card to a different PCI-e slot for it to fit and now the wireless card is not working. When I look on my mobo connections it is detecting the card in the PCI-e slot so I don't think the card or the slot is faulty. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers both from the TP-LINK website and from the disc the product came with and it still won't work. The TP-LINK utility program is picking up the wifi card but when I try to select it, it says "Failed to switch wireless network adapter." Windows is also picking it up in the device manager but when I try to manually install the drivers from the device manager it times out and will not complete the install. I have also cleared the CMOS on my mobo but that hasn't done anything either. I have scoured the internet since last night trying to find a fix. Any suggestions?

I am running Windows 10 64-bit.

My issue was a bad Windows 10 update. After resetting my computer then I was able to install the drivers and everything was working fine again. The only bad thing was having to install all my programs again but I thankfully didn't lose any documents on my drives.
