I had a Sodimm passed to me .8Gb but detected as 4gb. During memtest86, something strange happen. On the left hand saide of the screen , it says 3972M . but on the right side, it was reading / testing 4093-5368M. It my ram spoilt or someone play punk selling me a repasted 8gb sticker ram.
I install my laptop with 8Gb + this spoilt Ram 8GB, it shows 12GB.but it run slower than 8gb.
When I run memtest86 with 12GB, it give error.
