Looking for a CPU and GPU upgrade

So I'm looking for a better GPU and CPU a for my PC, the main games I play are ark,gta5,black ops 3, war thunder, csgo
My current setup is B85M-DGS Mobo
Gtx 950 2gb gddr5 GPU
I5-4690k CPU
Hyper 212 evo CPU cooler
8gb corsair vengeance 2x4 1600mhz ddr3 ram
EVGA 500w 80 plus certified power supply.
i have a budget of 700 USD for this. Thank you for the help!

I would get the GPU first that being what ever your budget is with at least 6gb vram. As far as your cpu goes your kinda in a spot because your on the old ddr3 which i think is still great for me. You can get a 4790k but i think in games your performance would be marginal. If you can get a used one might be something to think about in that $240 range would be a good price.

Your I5-4690K is a very capable gaming cpu.

Run YOUR games, but lower your resolution and eye candy.
If your FPS increases, it indicates that your cpu is strong enough to drive a better graphics configuration.
If your FPS stays the same, you are likely more cpu limited.

I suspect you would do better with a stronger graphics card.

Your psu can handle a card as good as a GTX1070.

If you need more cpu power, upgrade the motherboard to one that is overclockable.

With your budget, you can do both.
