I have a Medion Pre-built PC, and I already installed an Gtx 1050 ti on it. Can I upgrade my i3 3220 to an i3 6100 3.7 Ghz?
Will i3 6100 work with Medion MS 7797?

Short answer: no.
The i3-3220 uses an LGA 1155 socket whereas the i3-6100 uses an LGA 1151 socket. They are physically incompatible. You could consider upgrading to an i5 or even i7 on the LGA 1155 socket for extra performance.

Damn, that's the answer I was expecting. Is there any good budget i5 or i7 that works well with Gtx 1050 ti and has a good price tag like i3 6100?
Unlikely to be. The current best budget CPU is the G4560 but that would require a new motherboard and RAM. It sounds like you don't intend to go for a more substantial upgrade so this would be ruled out.
Seeing the i3-6100 is priced at $117 by Intel, and assuming that was the amount you were willing to spend, I don't believe anything fits into that budget. The only other way would be to buy secondhand on eBay or similar. Again, making sure the CPU is compatible with your motherboard.

Looking around it'll take anything up to the i7 3770
As said you're going to have to go second hand for a CPU upgrade but should find an i5 3470/3570 at a reasonable price if you look.
More than capable of pairing with a 1050 ti.

add a K after the number to find the unlocked versions.
But i'm 90% sure your motherboard won't support them. OR won't be able to Overclock them even if it does.

That 2.9ghz sounds like an s series chip.
No , always go with the non s / t series chips with the higher base clock if at all possible.
The s can't boost on all cores so is a fair bit weaker than the standard chip
