ROG Strix Rx 480 480 8gb

So I'm gonna get the 480 and saw this ROG Strix 480 for 248 and 218 after a 30 dollar rebate. I was kinda hesitant about the rebate as I know I would have to send in the UPC which would then stop the chance for a return or whatever but do you think I should get this instead of the MSI Gaming X 480? https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1273531-REG/asus_strix_rx480_o8g_gaming_rog_strix.html

Both are the same in performance, I don't know about RGB on the MSI one but there is on the ROG Strix one otherwise for the looks the MSI one is better. The ROG Strix RX 470 8g was 139$ last week, you could've gotten that.

It's mainly just rebates. The Strix one has a big 30 dollar rebate which is appealing but I really hate rebates as they stop you from being able to get returns.

Honestly screw the rebate if you end up having problems even a few months after purchase and u dont have the upc label they wont take the return whoever u purchased it from (say newegg) crap happened to me when my mobo went when my old water cooler leaked all over the place. Id go with the msi 480 bg from jet u can get 15% off your order and when u get it you can call square trade and register it for you a warranty of adh if you would like. I got mine from jet and the warranty through squaretrade
