Can I use silicon grease as thermal compound?

Looks like, I've to change my thermal paste of the CPU. But I couldn't find any quality product in the market(where I live). I've got some compunds like these (link).. Is it safe?(CPU: core i3 4150 3.5Ghz, GPU: GTX 1050, PSU: Thermaltake 550 Watt)

If your cpu is something weaker with low tdp, you have good cooler and don't oc, you can use it, but don't expect low temps.

That stuff would be better than toothpaste, but I wouldn't count on it being a high performance solution. At best, it's probably on par with whatever comes baked on to the default cooler for your CPU. What's your market?

If you have enough air flow in case, probably even stock cooler would keep it from throttling under full load with this thermal grease. And don't ask for best paste, you would end with answer like liquid metal, even thought it is overkill. Ideal with best price/performance ration would be mx4.

It's kind of hard to narrow down for online sellers given your area. But something like this may work

If nothing else, a name brand paste should be somewhat better than a case of random packets of paste. They have a local branch in Bogra.
