So i am building my new computer and one thing that i am very uncertain about is what motherboard to buy. Currently i am hovering between the H270 from Gigabyte and the Z170 from any brand that provides it. The processor i'm going for is the Kaby Lake i5 7600, non-k. I have no plans to overclock so that looked like the best choice. Now my question is which motherboard should i buy when i don't overclock. My budget is about €120 for the mobo

Thanks in advance

Don't buy Z170 with Kaby Lake. You need either a B250, Q250, H270, Q270 or Z270 to be guaranteed compatible out of the box.

If you don't plan on overclocking or using SLI. It doesn't matter which chipset you buy. If you want any of those or may want any you will need Z270. Although the Z270 board must specifically support these. Most do but some of the cheapest models don't support SLI.

When it comes to the cheaper chipsets. When they same price as the Z270 board they usually offer some other features. Such as superior audio or more connectors.
