I have 17,5-9,5 hands. I now have the Corsair Katar but it is too small and I can't use palm grip. My options are these: Logitech g502, g403, g pro and Razer Deathadder Elite. I also like zowie mice but I want braided cable. Please help me choose!!

If possible go try, i.e., "hands on" the other mice. See if you can borrow those other models from friends and family.

Visit stores where you can physically hold and move the mouse around as you would use the mouse at home.

"Hands on" also gives you a chance to examine how well the mouse, cables, buttons actually work and how well the mouse is built. Does the mouse feel solid and substantial or skimpy and flimsy?

Also re-evaluate the "want". What is the advantage of braided cable per se? Unless there is some real advantage of braided cable or some specific requirement for braided cable then the "want" should be less of a consideration.

No one in my family or friends have any of those mice and I live in Greece in a small town and I can't use any mice on stores or something. Also, I want braided cable because I have a default one now and it gets on my nerves. >< Which one should I pick?

Yeah but which Logitech? I read that the g403 has a scroll wheel problem and sometimes double click problem. The g pro might be small and the g502's shape may be too strange for me. I don't know :'(

Unfortunately just about any product these days is more likely to fail sooner or later and more ofter sooner.

Quality in components and assembly is just not there. And you do not have the option to easily purchase or return a defective product.

You mentioned you like the Zowie mice so that implies to me that you believe or know that the hand fit is better.

Google "mice braided vs unbraided cables". There are a number of online discussions regarding the pros and cons.

Plus "fixes" for the problems associated with "default" cables.

No desire or intention per se to take one side or the other within the discussions.

However, the braided cable requirement may be limiting your mouse options.

I don't really know many about the zowie mice but I read on the internet that they are very good. Also, I prefer a braided cable because I had one in the past and I liked it more than this non-braided one. I will probably buy the Logitech g403 or the Logitech g502. But which one of those two??

Full disclosure: have not used either Logitech mouse.

However, barring additional input (i.e., additional responses from ccampy or someone else - either or both fine with me) I would suggest the g403.

Reasons: 1) you believe the g502's shape to be too strange for you, and 2) although the g403 has had some reported problems it should not be excluded unless those problems are widespread and well-documented.

Meh.. pff I don't know what should I do.. :( I want this mouse for at least 3 years but it is too difficult to find one with good sensor, good dimensions and good build quality that will last so many years :(

I have the G502 and though it looks strange in pictures, it is perfectly comfortable and is a good mouse, the sensor is rated highly and it feels as durable as a lot of Logitech's old trusty mice.

Maybe you are right. At least it will be better than the mouse that I have now.

Hmm I don't know man. It costs 80 euros and the g403 costs 70 euros. That's my main concern. 80 euros are too much for me as I have a family that the Greek's economical crisis hit :( if I find a site that do deliveries in Greece and it is under 70 I will 90% buy it. But european site not American and then have another 100 euros to pay for the customs. Any ideas about european sites?
