So I accidentally put the clock speed on my cpu too high and I got a bsod and I froze at 69% what is the best thing to do

i wanted to know if i should restart my computer or not because the bsod had been on 69% for about 35min but i did and got in the bios to reset the clock speed and it's all ok now
