So I inherited this old compaq 433 from my father.(he was a computer guy, I'm a noob) It's running win95, it came with an intel i486 33mhz CPU with 4mb of RAM and 4mb of built in ram on the board. It has a floppy drive and one IdE connection attached to a 256mb hdd. It also has a 56k modem and a null modem port. I forgot what it's called lol. Ok so I decided that I wanted to learn computers for whatever reason it doesn't matter. So I started tinkering with his old computers, taking apart a few and making a Frankenstein pc, and now I'm starting a ryzen build. So whatever I found this compaq 433 in the basement and I thought it was cool so I decided to upgrade it (LMAO) to a whopping amd 5x86 133mhz CPU, I added 16mb of RAM (20 total) and I set all the jumpers to the correct places. I used the same exact power supply I always use with it. So the problem with this computer is that when I turn it on, it goes straight to a white screen. It doesn't perform any boot sequence or memory check or drive search or anything. Just blank white screen as soon as I press the power button. I'm editing to add that this is a one piece computer. It does not have a tower. The motherboard is inside of a drawer under the screen. Like I said, I'm a noob, I'm still learning (the hard way (it's fun)) so I may have missed something very simple that I just didn't know about because i have a lack of experience.

You're correct! I need a voltage friggen converter lmfao! I stuck my 66mhz chip in, I think the RAM I bought is shot, it starts reading the RAM and then it flashes a white screen and resets and does it over and over again until I put in the original 4mb I had. So now my new problem is the ram. The guy I got the RAM from swears he tested it and it worked. I'm just learning as I go along here lol.

Damn that's a shame. This stuff is so cool/fun. You can't even get a new copper phone line here in Nyc. This stuff is dying out and it was "invented" during my lifetime its crazy.
