HD7990 Still worth it?

Hello, long time no see!

I got a quick question about the Powercolor Radeon HD 7990 6GB.

My question is, is it worth getting it and replace my GTX 780 Asus DirectUii OC 3gb? Im getting the 7990 for 90$ and i will be able to sell my 780 for 80$.

My CPU is i5 2500k OC to 4,8Ghz
Ram 16Gb @ 1866mhz
Asrock Extreme 4
Corsair h80i cooler

Is it a upgrade? Can my parts handle the card with no problem?

My thinking is that it uses so much power that any gain in performance would have to be pretty big to justify that. For example, if your 780 was not providing you playable framerates in games and the 7990 would, that would justify it. If it's just about having more performance I wouldn't go for it. The heat generated, and power required, are things I would avoid when possible.
