So basically I got a i5 4690k off of a friend as an upgrade for my current CPU which is a i5 4440.
The i5 4440 is 84 W while the i5 4690k is 88 W. He didn't have a stock cooler for it so he told me to use my current one and gave me some new thermal paste. I don't plan on overclocking so I am just wondering will it be okay to do me for now until I buy a new cooler on amazon within a few weeks most likely. Thanks in advance for any help.

It should work without any issues since your not overclocking but i would strongly suggest grabbing a cheap aftermarket cooler in the long run since that is what you are meant to do when you buy a K series processor. You can get modest air coolers that will do the job at around ~$30 depending on which country you are in. Look up something like the Coolermaster Hyper 103 for example. Hope this helps :)
