Well this all started when I wanted to upgrade monitors. currently using an ASUS VE278H (great Monitor). i want something bigger, higher resolution, and i wouldn't mind higher refresh rate but 60hz is fine. Nothing crazy expensive or feature packed. i was looking at some of the UltraWide options. or getting a 1440 monitor with i high refresh rate. really just want a lot of real estate without loosing much pixel density. Im running a GTX 970 in my PC and an i5 4690(nonk). Great combination for 1080 but i know ill need an upgrade. I was thinking of grabbing a used gtx 1080. im seeing some for less than $500 which I dont mind getting at all. can i get some suggestions for GPU and/or Monitor. Dont say upgrade my cpu because im going to the that a little later.
