I have two pc's on my network. PC1 and PC2 running Win 7 Pro. Password protected sharing is on. Both PC's have UserA and UserB created with UserA set as admin on both PC's. On PC1, under UserA, I have enabled sharing/permission/security for FolderX for Everyone with full control. When UserB logs on to PC2 and tries to access FolderX, a credential popup window appears and accepts UserB's login credentials for full control of FolderX over the network and works flawlessly. BUT when I configure PC1/FolderY (using UserA) with sharing/security/permissions set for UserA allowing full control, if I log on to PC2 with UserA, I get "Access Denied" error if I try to access FolderY. I.e. Password protected sharing works flawlessly as long as I have share/permissions set to Everyone, but always get "Access Denied" when I try to set sharing to specific users. Please help. (PS: This is simplified as I actually have 5 PC's on the network, but user specific sharing doesn't work on any of them while "Everyone" sharing works perfectly.)
