Intel I5 4690K - Reaches 100% usage on every game i play

I've been experiencing 100% CPU usage on all games that i play. I have tried all the solutions to this problem i could find on the web so help would be greatly appreciated thanks! im new to forums so i apologize if i posted this in the wrong spot.
Specs.
I54690K @4.0Ghz
Gtx 1070 msi gaming x
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3
windows 10 on SSD also have a 1TB Seagate hardrive

It's not a constant 100% though is it? Are there any fps drops associated with it? I have the same Cpu and experience the same thing in newer games like BF1, The division and Watch Dogs 2. I find on average usage is about 70-80% but have frequent spikes to 90-100%. Is that what you experience? If your not getting severe frame drops I don't think you have anything to worry about. I'ts true, games are slowing beginning to utilize more Cpu threads (i7) but for now the 4690k is still a strong Cpu.

Have a look at the Ultimate Bottlenecking thread and you'll see the that the 4690k is a minor bottleneck with the GTX 1070.

I think the days of recommending i5 cpu's for any type of gaming is ending, but out of curiosity what games in particular? i5 is still good for "most" so you're probably playing newer cpu intensive titles

I can attest that this is nonsense. My 6700K barely gets to 60% usage with BF1

overwatch, bf4, tom clancy's the division, WoW, Ect. i play a buch of games. Btw thank you for the reply
